Seven lakes West Landowners Association Special Board of Directors Meeting West Side Park Community Center Friday, August 3, 2007
Call to Order: The president called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m. Present: Hugh Beckwith, Mary Anne Fewkes, Jim Haggard, Kathy Kirst, Ray MacKay, Bill Mamel, Jo Nicholas, and Ed Tuton. Absent: Blaine Rowland. Also present: Tony Robertson, community manager. A quorum was established.
Purpose of Session: The board was to refine previous decisions regarding entry through the east gate via the newly acquired bar code system.
The board entered executive session at 9:02 a.m.
The board exited executive session at 9:23 a.m.
Ray MacKay moved that the board adopt the third amendment to the Master Declaration, as presented at the meeting, and that the president be authorized to execute the document on behalf of the Seven Lakes West Landowners Association. Mary Anne Fewkes seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.
The president reported that 340 bar codes were installed on Wed. July 1st. Of these only 170 had been recorded in the newly created data base. He indicated that engaging temporary help may be needed to complete the data base in a timely fashion. Tony Robertson thanked the numerous volunteers who assisted in the bar code installation.
A discussion took place regarding the allocation of bar code strips. The board took the position that bar code installations will initially be limited to three per lot with a one lot maximum. It was estimated that the system may be activated on or about August 15th.
The board entered executive session at 9:56 a.m.
The board exited executive session at 10:17 a.m.
